Andriy Voronin's fantastic start to his Liverpool career has not gone unnoticed. He is currently the club's highest-ranked player in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League
The Ukraine international, 28, scored his first goal for the Reds in the 1-0 win over Toulouse in the Champions League before missing out on the 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield.
However, he returned to the line-up for the trip to the Stadium of Light and netted his first goal in the Premier League three minutes from time to seal a 2-0 win over Sunderland.
Voronin's display saw him earn 49 points and a place in the Actim Index Team of the Week. He was also the highest mover in this week's Index, climbing 241 places to 41st overall.
Defender Steve Finnan (52nd overall) also joined him in the Team of the Week after another consistent display against the Black Cats.
Who thought this was possible back in February when Voronin was signed?
