we sure have come along way since the houllier's day where we relied heavily on one or 2 players to deliver ie owen and gerrard. our strikers look good barring of course kuyt.midfield-enough said and defensively absolutely solid with just 2 goals conceeded thru penalties. we surely look the part now .i could only remember scum being able to field second stringers for a CL qualifier match.to be honest i never imagined we could ever do that.number 19...well i still dont know about that this season....but what progress we have made since houllier days.

actually no AA can be good sometimes, a bit negative but does bring some good to the table

I couldn't think of any fan who shouldn't want him to succeed, not least because he plays for Liverpool (some people's bizarre vendeetas against certain players are frankly ridiculous), but the fact that he works so hard and is clearly doing a very difficult job upfront for us makes me all the more eager to see him prove his doubters wrong.

Personally, I think he is slightly limited in his ability when compared to, say, Torres, but his role in the team is imperative to our long-term success IMO. If he keeps plugging away I'm positive he'll have cemented his place in the side and, hopefully, ALL our supporters affections.

A bit harsh to say everyone is sick and tired of this guy's disliking of Kuyt - each to his own. I'd have to say the jury is still out on him and this season could be make or break. He'll either become the 20/20 man we were promised or will be the new heskey. I don;t think anyone wants the latter!!!!

No we don't want another Heskey, but he criticised Kuyt even when he is doing well or not playing, that is just petty hatred.
