    Sissoko

I didn't get to watch the whole game the other night but I heard there was a heated exchange between Sissoko and Benitez when he got substituted. Can anyone shed any light or is there a clip of this?

Dunno about a heated exchange but Momo was clearly very pissed off when he saw his number go up.

The TV coverage did not show him walking to the bench. Just his reaction when he saw his number was up. He wasn't happy.
      Oh I don't know.

Well, he had every right to be pissed off because he was one of the best on the pitch! Rafa could have brought off some other player that wasn't playing well, but I guess Momo's substitution was part of his tactics.

I don't defend Momo, because he needs to understand that this is a team sport and that if manager brings you off, accept that and get over with it. He'll start against Derby anyway

I didn't see a heated exchange - I saw him get a pat on the back, although he didn't look too happy to be taken off.

i thought he did well the other night but on a couple of occasions he gave some poor passes his first pass after half time was a joke. Against better teams we would be punished for sloppyness like that he really has to improve on that aspect of his game!

I didn't see too much sloppiness by Mo in possession, in fact it was quite the contrary as he threaded some great balls into the forwards.

Wouldn't agree... personally I didn't see too much sloppiness by Mo in possession, in fact it was quite the contrary as he threaded some great balls into the forwards.

What was amusing was the look Lucas got, there he was grinning , excited at coming on, waiting to shake Momo's hand and Momo just gave him a look, Lucas looked liked he was going to **** himself! the shaking of hands was half hearted and on came Lucas happy to have survived the encounter.
                    We come not to play.

Not a good sign was it. He's started the season well, but he still can't be first choice in the middle. If he gets a strop on even when he does start, he's not going to a happy bunny when it comes to some of the big games.

If I were Sissoko in that situation I'd be pleased. Doesn't he know it's a sign he's getting a game on Saturday?

I hate it when players are happy to be brought off.
