Pennant-England?

I would hope that that would be the attitude he adopts. As you say, his behaviour and determination have been superb since he arrived and he has had to work far harder than most to convince the fans of his worth to the team. But he has done, and I would hope that he continues to cement himself in our squad and forgets about England. If he keeps playing this well, he'll get a call-up eventually.

McClarrens a **** end of, I really hope England lose these next two matches, i'd love to see the look on the stupid *******s face. Really have to question if the FA actually know **** all about football with apointments like this, I doub theres a England supporting person in this country who wanted him as manager (except maybe a few boro fans), and he was the best candidate in the eyes of the FA, wish he'd do everyone a favour and **** offThomas Hicks Senior

His attitude on the pitch this season hasn't been perfect. He has moaned a lot at the ref and that is something that we shouldn't do.Originally posted by dww View PostMy only worry would be if it gets Pennant down. He has had a perfect attitude in his time with us and I wouldn't want that to change. If he takes it the way he has all the other pressures/criticism since he arrived then it will only make him more determined which would be great for us.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

To be fair I don't mind seeing individuals getting a bit upset about decisions - shows a desire to win/fight. What really bothers me is organised harassment of officials. Everyone can fly off the handle in the heat of the moment, you just have to not step over the mark and unless you can hear what he has said I wouldn't be too harsh on him.Originally posted by AFII View PostHis attitude on the pitch this season hasn't been perfect. I can understand that Bentley gets picked ahead of Pennant but to pick Young ahead of him is a joke.
Bentley is a good player but Young hasn't showed anything extra so far.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
