Gerrard OUT of tomorrow's game, but...

    Will play for England.

FFS...if he isnt fit to play for us, england can do one...

    EDITED to add McClaren quotes:

"I have spoken to Steven and I am very confident he will be available. He did play against Chelsea a couple of weeks ago and obviously we will take medical advice before making a decision. But ultimately, Steven wants to play in the next two games. He knows how important he is to our team. We need him."

Fecking pisstake...what if the injury gets worse during one of the qualifiers and we lose him for a greater period of time? :whatever:

I hope he just goes to the England get together to play PES on the XBOX and beat the rest of the squad and comes home.

I dont want him to be playing with them nor does Rafa i'd say
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

Think it shows how desparate England are for victories in the next 2 matches.

Gerrard is big enough to say to McClown to **** off. If he plays, I would assume he's ready ... He's just not ready for tomorrow.

I think Gerrard wants to play for England now is because he knows he can be a hero with all of the other players playing ****e!

Though I'd rather see him having Carra's mentality on this subject

England ain't worth the Premiership trophy Stevie, hope you know that! If he gets injured in the England game, it is his own damn fault.

It's simple really, Stevie wants to play football.

Rafa will not risk him, obviously, whereas that Manc **** will risk him, because after he's played him, and he's ****ed him up for a few weeks, he won't be too bothered.

Stevie just wants to play football.

Club v country, always has, and always will be trouble.
                  Reece, get off my wife.:whatever:

It's up to Stevie if he plays or not. No one can force him to play with pain killing injections.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

not very good if he plays those matches and ****s himself up even further for us is it, we're resting him just so England can get the ****ing benefit, would slur alex do that? would he ****, he'd be pulling his injured players right out of the squad

If Lampard's out and Gerrard plays with injections, I'll be furious.
