AnfieldAnfield moonlights as a Derby fan to help .tv....

How are you finding life back in the Premier League?

It's been rubbish so far. We've lost three out of four in the league and have just been beaten by Blackpool in the cup. Everything we had or have bought seems woefully inadequate at the moment. Unless we get a decent striker and midfielder in, I can't see us staying up. Thinking about it, you've got plenty of those. Can you lend us Stevie and Peter?

So you're in positive mood, then?

Ha ha. No, it's great to be back and we're enjoying it. I just get the feeling it's going to be a long, hard slog. What we need is a mystery foreign striker to come in and give us hope. When all is said and done, even if we do go down, this year has made us financially solvent and secured our long-term future. And it's nice watching Lawro and Hansen on Match of the Day instead of Townsend on ITV.

How are you feeling ahead of your trip to Anfield?

In a word: trepidation. I just hope we avoid a repeat of the 7-1 thrashing at the Baseball Ground in 1991. I think Barnes got a hat-trick, but thankfully he's taken up presenting now. A trip to Anfield is always nice – though the seats are a bit too close together for me. I'm going to have a night out in Liverpool as well – the girls are lovely.

    Who are you worried about

It's easier to say who I'm not worried about. The only thing I'm not worried about is John Arne Riise's right foot! But seriously, Torres looks good. The goal against Chelsea was class. I like Momo Sissoko too – we could do with a player like him. Obviously there's Gerrard, but will he be playing? Hope not. I also think Kuyt is one of your best players. He's unselfish, creative and knows how to finish – and he comes across as a nice bloke, too.

    And who are your dangermen?

The only one is big Stevie Howard. He might cause your backline a few problems in the air – though Sami Hyypia will probably relish playing against him. Hopefully he can win us a few headers and we'll be hoping to get something from set pieces.

How are you likely to play at Anfield?

Billy Davis is trying to play a bit more adventurous this year. We were like George Graham's Arsenal in the Championship, but there's only so far you can get doing that nowadays. Having said that, our free-flowing style doesn't seem to be working at the moment, so I hope we get stuck in and park a bus in front of our goal.

Finally, what's the score going to be?

I'd be proud if we lost 3-1. To score at Anfield would be great – I'd feel very proud. If you asked me to put my beloved drum kit on it, I'd say 4-0 to you lot.
    Long lost brother dave?
