Torres unlucky with a header

Pennant with a turn and decent cross, Torres with a header from penalty spot but keeper saves it fairly comfortably.

Kuyt with a nice turn and bit of play to open space, plays it to Torres who stabs at it well wide. Didn't quite link up there.

Kuyt almost slips in Torres with a turn and pass.

Mascher under pressure makes a mistake, passing it to nobody and out for a Derby throw.

Kuyt drops off, finds space but plays an awful ball in anticipation of a run from nobody.

Long ball over the top, Torres chases, Derby defend well.

Pennant on the right, with space, cuts inside and is tackled well. Wasted that but Derby fail to clear, keeper hits it into Kuyt, breaks to Xabi who drags a shot wide.

Kuyt is showing good movement so far in this game, making himself busy, final ball hasn't been there yet though.

Agger moves forward, allowed to by Derby, passes it to Kuyt who turns and cracks one over from about 25 yards.

I see Yakubu has scored on his debut. 1 up against Bolton.

Good closing down by Torres, forces derby to take a throw on half-way line.

Finnan intercepts and starts a counter-attack, Derby regroup and force us to play it back to Pepe.

Our play up top hasn't really got going yet. Babel been anonymous and Kuyt and Torres not linking up too well.

Scrappy game, Derby pressure, cross in cleared. Derby still have it though and for now the play is in our half.

Torres goes wide to try and make things happen but runs it out for a throw.

Derby's packed defence proving difficult to break down at the moment.

El Jefe cracks one wide from about 25 yards, good play by Arbeloa in the build-up and ref waves play on following a foul.

Our best chances come from Mascher and Agger so far.
