I was away last weekend (2 games ago) but in Spain I saw MOTD2 and Glenn Roeder was on it and he asked about Chelsea, the **** said now they are 5 points in front they will win the league. NOBODY corrected him ie Liverpool were ahead of UTD with a game in hand and he never even mentioned Liverpool. He actually wondered why he was sacked from Newcastle? DOH! Look at the whole league and not just Utd and Chelski FFS. There is a genuine team who can win it and they play in red and are from Liverpool

Glenn Roeder is a moron. He was asked if he was interested in Dirk Kuyt (before we signed him obviously). He replied he was (mistake no.1) but would be scouting him in the world cup (mistake no.2) and if he looked good would put in a bid for him then (mistake no.3).

Sacking him was probably the kindest thing.

Glenn Roeder managed to get West Ham relegated, before they sold off their top players, then he tried his best to do the same with Newcastle.

How anybody could even think of using him as a pundit is beyond me.
