    Peter Crouch

    He must feel like a right tit now.Being smart in the press and knocking on Rafa's door looking for answers.Well Torres has blown him out of the water bigtime.Every single aspect of Torres game is better that Crouch's.
    You would swear he is Robbie Fowler or Ian Rush asking questions like that.
    He needs to work hard,take his chance when he gets it and know his place.

    Rafa is a ruthless man as we seen with Pako and he would have no problem treating Crouch like Baros and Cisse.Rafa is playing the situation right as usual and Crouch when he gets his chance will have extra motivation.

    Just on Torres,he is 22 and makes nothing balls look like something balls.
    He barely celebrated Babels goal as he was sulking that he had'nt scored
    Then when he scored he nearly creamed himself.He is mad to be the topscorer and he has plenty of confidence too.He is explosive.

    to be fair to crouch we don't know how he went about seeing rafa
    he was top scorer last year so i don't have a problem wanting to play more.

    i think crouch will have a lot to offer- without making seterotypical comments about latin types we don't know how torres will fair once the grind of winter happens- thats when our players with english experience such as crouch and yossi will prove important.

      Torres will play most of the games so it will be Torres plus another and right now Crouch is third on the another list behind Kuyt and Voronin.

      The reason, Kuyt and Voronin are better players and fits Torres playing style better.
      Just believe and you never know what will happen.

      According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

        Totally uncalled for. You talk as though you have the inside track on what's been going on. You also neglect to mention he was Liverpool FC's top goalscorer in 2006/2007.

        He's 4th choice - by some distance the best 4th choice striker in the country, and I dare say Europe. You should be pleased about it, not making disparaging remarks.

          Top goalscorer in all comps with 18.Just shows our failings last year.
          If I want to have a dig at Crouch I will.If I was sitting in the stand for the last few league games because I was dropped from the squad then I would feel like a tit.His comments obviously have not helped him either.
          It was a positive weekend and I just commented on him being left out of the 16 yet again.Sorry my post offended you Mr est1892:whatever:

            I suppose our "failings last year" were all Crouch's fault.

            It was a positive weekend yet you felt the need to put a negative spin on events and stick the boot in to one of your favourite whipping boys. You're not far behind 'justcruisin' in terms of repetitive slagging - only your targets are different to his and you have two (Kewell & Crouch) instead of one

            Some people are only happy when they're bleating.

              Crouch probably would have bagged a couple yesterday with the kamikaze defending on show. Not to say the lads yesterday had sitters, they took their goals well, but Derby are a very poor team.

              I hope Rafa doesn't freeze him out as I think Crouch had every right to ask the question. In 2007 he's scored 10 goals in 16 starts for us, Kuyt has scored 10 in 22.

                all this talk about crouch and his show-down meetings, where does it come from the tabloid press. Need I say more? Peter's a sensible bloke, he knows the score, he knows he'll get his chance and if he's got the ability, he'll take it.

                I have to agree with shaggy some of the slagging that keyboard warrors on here give certain players is breathtaking.

                  i have not made it a secret how i feel about crouch not being good enuf for liverpool fc......... so tell me what he offers our team and im fairly confident i can find a better pleyer for all answers ?????????

                        Ya and if he had kept his head down at the start of the year then maybe he would have played or at least have been in the 16.
                        I think he has no right to ask any questions.Momo did the same and he is 4th choice too.It's a 60 game season and Crouch will probably play 30.
                        He needs to realise that.

                            Listen...I don't care if people don't rate Crouch - we're all entitled to different opinions. What bugs me slightly is when people stick the boot in to a player even when he's sitting in the stand while we won SIX NIL.

                            It's an agenda with some folk.
