I think Kewell will go in Jan on a cheapy cause of his contract or he'll just leave on a free next summer

what's pleasing about our wingers is what one lacks the other has

pennant - goal threat
babel - crossing (whilst running)

along with torres through the middle the pace and directness has completely transformed the team.

back to the wingers, I think the are marvelous and certainly in the case of babel they will get better

Funny, while Pennant was brilliant yesterday I saw little from Babel in terms of "running fast with the ball", he had a decentish game but he's not a winger in the Pennant/Barnes/McManman mould.

He says himself he prefers to play CF, not surprising then to see him preferring to play the pass rather than run at people.

Great username, first of all

Babel didnt do MUCH of it, but my main point was, when he did it, he was fecking quick as lightening, and powerful/strong too. Direct running with pace and strength is a huge asset and he'll do more and more of it as he finds his feet. The main point is, he's capable of doing it, which most of our players havent been in recent years.
