    Le Tellec gone!

Liverpool have today confirmed that midfielder Anthony Le Tallec has gone on a season long loan to French outfit Le Mans.

The 22 year old has struggled to establish himself in manager Rafael Benitez's plans and spent last season with Sochaux.

Since arriving at Anfield in the summer of 2003 Le Tallec has made just 32 appearances for the Reds, scoring one goal.

I hope he does better in motor racing then he has done with us,

      Le Mans?

Every year he goes on loan and every year he goes to a poorer club.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Why not let him leave on a Bosman?

His contract ends next summer anyway.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Because we would have to pay him compensation

At least loaning him out will cover some of his wage costs

I thought he did well for Sochaux?

I wonder how much we've been demanding for him that we can't sell him.

He'll end up leaving on a free.

He was average at best that night, yet everyone seems to be under the impression he was absolutely superb.

                    Disagree.
He was very good, neither average, nor absolutely superb.

And that through ball which he never meant... was a great 'accidental' ball though.
