    Javier Mascherano's Song

His name sung to the bass line of The White Stripe's Seven Nation Army.

I like it a lot, especially the clapping/ banging of walls to make include the drum beat!

We must be the only team about to have used one of their tunes for a song?

The Italians use the same tune, loads of them do it, the National team fans, Roma fans, Lazio fans, loads. Theres isnt a name singing though or anything its just a chant. Dunno what the word they use is, sounds like bo or po or something.

'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
        It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
        Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

The one to the tune of Desparado was better IMO.

But, you can't argue with simplicity I guess - gotta give the crowd what they want

They were all singing it after the WC - 'Cam-pi-on-e del Mundo, Cam-pi-on-e del Mundo' etc

Just look at the face: it's vacant, with a hint of sadness. Like a drunk who's lost a bet.
