Typical Carra interview...knows what he's talking about and also knows what to say and what not to say. He's bound to stay in the game as a manager/coach when he quits.
He'll definitely stay in the game, not sure whether he will want a high profile job though. I can see him running an academy (hopefully ours).

I think a scouting role would suit Carra perfectly. He already watches any game from any league at any level when he isn't playing, so why not continue to do so at his own leisure and pass on the details.
Would prefer him to take a coaching role personally though.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Now is the time for him to be taking his badges. Anyone know if he has? Saying that I reckon he has at least 5 years left. Maybe not as first team, but 5 years none the less.

I believe he said a few years ago that both he and Gerrard were doing them, implying it was just to fill in time.

Carragher’s versatility, although one of his undoubted strengths, could be argued to have been to the detriment of his international career. He retired from international football at the age of 29 with 34 caps, despite not having started an England international at centre-back.
What a ****ing disgrace that is, no wonder he retired..good on you Jamie
