    LFC vs. Manure

There was a thread a year or so ago, where someone asked who in the manure team would get into a starting liverpool libe-up. The list was longer than we would have liked.

But where do we stand today?
    • Rooney maybe, not sure he could link up as well as Kuyt. Deffo worse than Torres, he's not as complete as El Nino.
    • Tevez, ditto.
    • Ronaldo, definitely
Saha, Torres leaves him in the dust.
    • Giggs, probably.
    • Scholes would not swap him for Sir Stevie.
    • Vidic, makes too many mistakes to displace Agger.
    • Rio, give me a break.
    • Neville. NFW.
    • Evra, while he's very good on the attacking front. The waiter is a better all round player.
    • Carrick, ha ha ha a poor mans Alonso/Momo/El Jefecito.
    • Hargreaves, ditto.
    • Van der Sar :whatever:
    • Bench, ours kicks theirs into oblivion.

Quite an improvement is it not?
Am I wrong?

I don`t think our fans could Stomach Ronaldo with a Liverbird on his chest.
Giggs would thrive under Rafa`s leadership and rotation policy. The rest are sh*te.

Am I wrong? yep id agree: rooney and ronaldo would make our 1st 11

beyond that only tevez (but only instead of the granny-shagger) interests me

giggs and scholes would have got into our side until about 18months ago now even giigs looks a bit past his best to me.

a number of their 1st choice players:hargreaves, carrick, evra, saha, fletcher would not, in my opinion merit a place is our SQUAD let alone our best 11.

our squad has not looked as favourable as compared to theres since 1995/96 when our talented spice boys were better than them, sadly not better organised or coached.

Scholes would walk into our side. Best English player of his generation - and I absolutely hate to admit that.

Hate to say it but so would Ronaldo and Rooney, but thats all I would take.

Totally agree......and giggs would be a squad player, only guaranteed start based purely on footballing talent is Ronaldo. Rooney or Tevez would PROBABLY get my nod ahead of Kuyt (thinking about it Rooney would link up well with Torres I think) so make that 2 players. And the bench for the scum is ****ing shambolic!! ha ha ha we are in a great position and I can really see Manu collapsing big time when slur alec retires! Good job too!!

best of generation - no - thatd be shearer for me

get in our best 11 now? - absolutely no chance whatsoever in a zillion years would i pick him ahead of gerard/alonso/mascher

oh -and his groin injury is incurable - hes hanging on to his career by a thread in the same way jocky hansen did in the late 1980's

Giggs has never said or done anything anti Liverpool, has he?He`s a good player and professional.I`d have him for his experience alone.Pennant and Babel would learn alot from him.

Scholes would be 5th or 6th choice midfield.

Giggs would as Quinncy says do well but only play a game here or there.

Ronaldo, of course, he is way better than Pennant. He would be a first team regular

that is it IMO. Our Squad is much better than United. Iam very excited about this season.
