Rooney is not wide, jsut big bonedOriginally posted by lfcruleus View PostNo one is really gonna want to hear this but when fit Gary Neville is the best all round right back in the league, Rooney and Ronaldo would walk in to our first team and maybe Evra, Arbeloa has been good since signing but its a bit early to be classing him as a top class left back, Wouldnt swap any of the spine with thiers though but we still dont possess thier wide players.
I do know the games against them if Rafa goes about it the right way could be classics this year and they wont be able to call us defensive anymore.

The fact is: who gives a **** of combining teams? Its a squad thing look at real madrid to the failings of adding players rather that team players.
We have now got the best and most adaptable squad in the premiership, now we have got rid of bellamy, how many ****s have we in the team? none!!
there are so many horrible individuals that play for chelsea and scum, drogba, ronaldo, neville, cole, ballack, all orrible ****s!!!_____________________________________

ok yukpo, im forced to replyOriginally posted by yukpo View Posthe actually retired because he was being ****ed around by sven and getting stuck out on the left wing when in reality hes the best CM in england alongisde stevie
a later poster calls this post nonsense. nonsense doesnt due it justice.
take it from me - someone whose seen his inguinal regions from the inside - that paul scholes retired from interntional football because of a chronic, incurable groin complaint that will need regular rest for the rest of his life.
as for calling him the best central midfield player in england.....im afraid that comment puts you into the "if he really believes that then nothing he ever says is worth taking notice of" category
and if you didnt know, the best CM in england is a lad called steven gerarddrunk knows best

Think?Originally posted by yukpo View PostStarting to think Ferdinand should be included in that team
We shout our load after we beat Derby 6-0, simple as that. Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Ronaldo, Scholes, Hargreaves, Rooney would all have a good shout at getting in our team. Whether they would i'm not sure.

Hargreaves would have no chance of getting into our team. You could add Tevez to that list though.Originally posted by JimmytheJalopy View PostThink?

Originally posted by SpeedyG View PostThere was a thread a year or so ago, where someone asked who in the manure team would get into a starting liverpool libe-up. The list was longer than we would have liked.
But where do we stand today?
- Rooney maybe, not sure he could link up as well as Kuyt. Deffo worse than Torres, he's not as complete as El Nino.
- Tevez, ditto.
- Ronaldo, definitely
Saha, Torres leaves him in the dust.- Giggs, probably.
- Scholes would not swap him for Sir Stevie.
- Vidic, makes too many mistakes to displace Agger.
- Rio, give me a break.
- Neville. NFW.
- Evra, while he's very good on the attacking front. The waiter is a better all round player.
- Carrick, ha ha ha a poor mans Alonso/Momo/El Jefecito.
- Hargreaves, ditto.
- Van der Sar :whatever:
- Bench, ours kicks theirs into oblivion.
Quite an improvement is it not?
Am I wrong?
Rose tinted nonsense in my book mate.
Reina would pip VDS in goal
At right back its a toss up between Neville & finnan but if pushed I'd go for Neville
Centre backs is a tough call but I'd go for Vidic and Carra. Agger will be a top notch CB but at the minute Vidic would just shade it.
Left back is easy, its Evra. we still don't have a top notch LB. The waiter our best but he's there because JAR & Aurelio are limited rather than his own brilliance.
In midfield SG picks himself. I'd pick him with Masher but Hargreaves would push him close. Out wide its Ronaldo & Giggs.
Upfront its Torres & Rooney but both Saha & Tevez are better than our 3 other strikers.
So its 6 of theirs and 5 of ours.AKA Heighway No9

We're a team. Losing just two players doesn't make a difference to us.

Yeah, manyoo would easily falter against average teams like birmingham, marseille or spurs eh?
but we still hammered derby , which not a lot of teams have done eh?

It's Magic here!Ace forum!!
Anyway, I've read this thread and I have to disagree with quite a bit of it.Lets take the Red tinted specs off laa's.
As far as I can see, their whole defence is better than ours.Arbeloa or Evra?Come on, it's a no brainer! And I'm also gutted that Rooney, the best player Merseyside has ever produced, is at Man United!!!
To be honest, I've had enough.Rafa OUT!
