    Development Gets Green Light!

    Liverpool City Council say Yes,

    Anfield Football Stadium and Land at Stanley Park (including site of nos. 47-71 Anfield Road), Priory Road/Utting Avenue/Anfield Road, Liverpool, L4 (i) FULL PLANNING APPLICATION - To erect a new 60,000 seater stadium (to include a community resource centre, access, parking, and landscaping; demolition of properties at 47-71 Anfield Road; erection of new electricity substation; laying out of football pitches, tennis courts, and multi-use games area on Stanley Park; new pathways and upgraded access points, and re-levelling works in Stanley Park) (ii) OUTLINE PLANNING APPLICATION - To erect a new development of Anfield Plaza for mixed uses including offices, retail and food & drink uses, community uses, a residential scheme, a hotel, and public open space (subject to an illustrative masterplan and development brief) Decided Approve with Conditions.....

              Are you sure about this as on the council website their is no decision.

                One of my uncles emailed it me......er....he works for Liverpool City Council........

                  It is the old app he looked at, app number 03F/3214 which got a decision on 11/04/2006.
                  Sorry guys no decision yet. Consultation only ended last week.

                    Well the wording in your post is the exact wording for the app submitted in 2003 and given a decision last year. Go look at the wording for the present app, I have given the app number above. I think your uncle made a mistake.

                      A Hybrid Planning Application for :- 1: Full planning application for a new 60,000 seater football stadium, incorporating community partnership centre; club museum and shop; club offices; ancillary conference and banqueting facilities; car park for c. 970 vehicles together with access; landscaping works; demolition of properties on Anfield Road and the former Vernon Sangster Sports Centre; the provision of a new electricity substation; outside broadcast area and emergency services muster area; tennis courts and multi-use games area; new pathways and upgraded access points in Stanley Park; and ground re-levelling in Stanley Park. 2: Outline planning application for a mixed use development (comprising hotel, commercial offices, retail uses, food and drink uses, community uses, and housing) and open space on the site of the existing football stadium
                      The old app is the same wording as you have posted.
