Wow i can't believe Babel has gone unmentioned in this thread, in fact when i read the title i assumed his name would have been the first on the list.

Anyway for me Babels in game intelligence is quite exceptional and he is our most dangerous attacker bar Torres imho.

I think Lampard is in a qualified way - his personal movement is very, very intelligent. However he doesn't have the ability to organise others or affect the flow of a game in the way I associate with the 'game intelligence' talked about. I guess this is just a question of definition and preference.

I would have certainly have agreed about Sheva before he went to Chelsea. As it is I had actually forgotten he played for them.
