Arsenal and Liverpool are keeping tabs on Italy's latest midfield star, Pasquale Foggia.
The Cagliari playmaker won his first call-up to the Azzurri squad this week and ControCampo says his early season form has already alerted Liverpool and Arsenal, both of which are prepared to bid £12 million for the former AC Milan midfielder in January.
Foggia, who is on £700,000-a-year, is on-loan at Cagliari from Lazio, but has already ruled out returning to the Rome club. Cagliari can sign the midfielder permanently for ?6 million.
