    LFC TV vs E-season

Okay i'm sure there's many in my situation, signed up for both setanta so due to get the lfc tv channel and also signed up to the e-season.

I'm thinking about ditching the e-season because i don't really see any benefits of keeping it now, i never use the live audio coms cos i'm always watching the match, and most of if not all the video stuff they have will end up on the channel, so the only reason i can really see why anyone would want to keep the e-season is for the match ballots which to be honest i hardly ever use.

Is there anything else i'm missing here because at the moment it just seems like a waste of £40 a year, anyone already cancelled or going to do the same?

I dont have that e-season but youre right, apart from the ticket thing, nothing on there wont be on the new channel and if anything, the new channel will have more stuff.

I have ditched it last year. Not worth it if you have better options like a satellite subscription showing all matches.

But isn't it so that everything on the new channel will be on e-season?

Are you signed up for Setanta because they show the premier league games there in the U.K?

Here in Norway we can see every premier league game on canal plus, but we need to pay extra to get the new channel, hence we can just as well keep the e-season. I guess this goes for every fan outside the U.K., or?

the thing with E-season is that the money goes the club.
But then again some of you probably spend enough as it is.

I'm keeping my e-season so that I can watch it in work because I'm very rarely at home watching the game so I don't need to subscribe to Setanta.
They'll have the same content as far as I'm aware also I enjoy being able to pick certain games and watch the highlights when I choose.

that was the only thing i was thinkin about being able to pick, but i've got sky+ so it's not really an issue, anyway, i've jibbed it funnilly enough my sub ends on 19th september

The only thing I can think is that the eSeason stuff is on demand.

do you think there will be a time in the relatively near future where we can actually get to see all our teams matches live?
                  **** that would be nice!

I'd say it's going to become eventuallity but not for a long time yet.

Two things would need to happen for that to occur, the law would have to change to allow televised 3pm kick offs, which may be a possibility in the future, given the amount of pubs televising 3pm's these days the law is a bit pointless.

Also the way in which the rights are sold would need to change so that each club can sell their own matches, which is the one i think will be the sticking issue. The thing that keeps the prem so strong is the rights being sold collectively meaning each team gets an equal share, what would happen is the well supported teams would get richer and the also rans would get poorer.
