i think its fair to say that something has happened between crouch and rafa. rafa has gone from complete faith to the point of stubbornly playing him when every set of fans (except ours of course) and every media outlet were mocking him.

It seems that now those same people have done a total reverse and so has rafa. when this started i remember rafa saying "crouchy needs to remember how he got to this stage" which seemed a warning to me and almost like a "don't start listening to them now they like you" kind of thing

in my completely uninformed opinion its things like the robot, this autobiography and crouch worrying about england/listening to public opinion that has affected their relationship.

i for one like crouch and hope we can resolve it, but with only 18 months left on the deal, january is the only time we'll get maximum return on him so it needs to be sorted.

Just as we have done with our midfielders. I think Crouch can buy-out his contract next summer so we would only get around £3m-£4m for him if he don't sign a new deal.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Crouch has a role to play yet this season, but he is hardly being missed so I dont see the problem. We are a better team with Kuyt playing.
I did'nt see Monster praising Crouch and he knows his ****!!

It will be a step down. Apart from Macca, no one who has left us really goes on to bigger things.

Look I like Crouch, but he has not been consistently outstanding for us and has an average goal scoring record for us. If he leaves then so be it, it'll be a downward step. but I think he will sign a new contract and everything will be ok.

Apparently he has difficulty intergrating at Anfield because there is no one he can look up to
