    Just can't believe it.
The ball hit him in the back and bounced to Crouch and that's a cross?!
It would go to dubious goals if it was in England and Lampard would get it...

You reckon he is worth around 10M, I would go over that and say he is worth about 15M. But then Brendan & Ryan would counter that and say he is well below 5M.

But whether it is 5M, 10M or 15M, I very much doubt that Rafa will sell Crouch anytime this season even if we happen to receive a whopping offer. Suppose that Chelsea came up with a 15M pound proposal, I doubt Rafa will accept let alone consider it. Not because Crouch is worth more than 15M. But because, at this moment in time, losing Crouch means giving away such a powerful option in our game; we don't have a direct replacement that will give us real aerial presence in the way Crouch does.
considering that hargreaves was being quoted at about 7m last season before signing his contract and 17m is not enough to buy him now, crouch- as a goalscorer- must be worth at least 15m.

he hasn't performed against "big" international teams as he hasn't been picked for those games and we won't be playing any in this qualifying group

he is on fire now and is giving rafa all sorts of selection headaches with his form which is of course great for us

People who say Crouch doesn't score against big teams don't have a clue, he's scored against Chelsea, Man U, and us in the past.

Did you hear Platt say last night that Crouch needed to prove he could score goals against world class oponents? He seems to have to do so much more to prove himself than anyone else. Can you imagine the hype if Rooney had scored 10 in 10 games or whatever it is. It really is time people looked past the fact that he looks like 4 washing line props tied loosley together and concentrate on his end product instead.

Also read my post above, Crouch HAS scored against "World Class" opponents.

Oh and rooney hasn't scored in a competetive game for england since Euro 2004. Which is a pretty **** record.
