    Momo and Ramadan

How does Mo cope with training and playing during Ramadan? I can see how he can manage without food in the daylight hours, but he's not allowed water in daylight hours either, and that woul be dangerous considering the physical effort required for training and I imagine playing a competitive match would be impossible.

you always have to tread carefully on here with regard to religion but in fairness with the amount of running and the exceptional engine surely he needs to take in water and food for energy????
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

A leading doctor done tests on him last season. When he tested his blood it actually had stamped on it "momo is boss"

This year will be a little harder for him.

Cant eat or drink between 4.30 am and 7.30pm roughly. As the month goes on the time between sunrise and sunset gets shorter obviously.

It'll be tough but thats life, we should be thankful that we aren't starving somewhere in africa with no shelter.

Its being grateful for our health and what we have that ramadan is all about. A small test

In Ramadhan, he has to eat before the crack of dawn which means before 4ish so he must be eating all his energy food and so fourth at that time. He breaks his fast at around 7.30ish in the evening. So thats around 15 hours, plus Rafa gives a break around mid day for the players to rest and sleep. He should be fine.

What is Ramadhan like for you; how do you celebrate the month and Eid?

Ramadhan is so very important in all our lives. From the start my parents made sure of this. It has been difficult in the last four years, as I have not had chance to celebrate it with my parents, but I have had my wife and cousin who have been here and also now Ibrahim, my brother. I make sure I fast in the month, it is only in emergency I might not, but in a normal situation I do. It is difficult but now I am used to it. It is a very blessed month.
