Would a footballer come into the scenario of a job which fasting would not be permitted. I mean we all like the sport but on the grand scale of things a footballer isnt that important. (OK it is to some)
Ramadhan Mubarak to everyone here performing their fasts in the forthcoming month
Quit your jibber jabber!!!
Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??
Correct if there is a match and it is his job to play that match then under doctors advice that it would be a health risk to fast and play he could miss fasting that day and make up for it later in the year
apparently all he has to do during training or before after or during the game, is go to the club doctor complaining of feeling unwell, if the club doctor diagnoses that he is suffering from dehydration the he can prescribe that Momo drinks liquid, if he further prescribes that this drink be isotonic and gives an energy boost (Lucozade type) then the rules of Ramadan are not being compromised
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"
Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"
Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"
