Rafa will have to think about our CL game on Tuesday. I can't see Gerrard play four games in 10 days just after getting back from injury.

It's better to rest him against Pompey and then have him back rested on Tuesday than to play him this weekend. I doubt that he will be 100% and a big part of Steve's game is about his energic runs.

Alonso/Sissoko against Pompey and Macherano/Gerrard in the CL on Tuesday.
