Cos he didn't fit in a team were we just lumped it up to big Emile....Houiller didn't have a plan B.....Jari would have rocked in any Rafa managed team.

Anyone remember the game against Palace in the MM cup at home, he was awesome and then he did it again aginst Man Cirt in The FA cup a few days later.

I remember thinking every time that he played that he'd finally get a good run in the team, but it never happened. A real shame.

Jari got another goal tonight (albeit against Kazakhstan) with big Sami adding the second.

Jari played the whole game upfront and scored from rebound. Kazakstan defender saved the first attempt, backheel by Forssell, with his head. Guy was actually laying on the goal line.

Sami scored, surprisingly, with his head. Out-jumped everybody to a cross after a corner and managed to direct the ball to the corner. Would like to see him do the same in red shirt from time to time

4 games now, 8 points. Best start in our history for any qualification.

Will go and see the "mega-spectacle" of a match, Finland-Armenia, next month.
Just have to figure out a way to smuggle some spirits to the stands, it'll be cold as hell in here...
