Rafa Benitez has urged Fernando Torres to continue working hard in a bid to maintain his blistering start to life in the Premier League.
While many big-name imports take some time to adapt to the pace of England's top-flight, the ex-Atletico Madrid ace has three goals in four appearances.
Benitez has told the club's record signing to maintain his efforts in training in a bid to reap the rewards in the coming months.
"Yes, Fernando should be pleased but we also have to tell him to keep working hard," stated Benitez.
"It is not always going to be as easy as he thinks it is at the moment and we need to wait and see what happens in a month or two.
"He will find out there are some very difficult central defenders to play against and also some dumb ****s like ferdinand or cheating ****s like carvalho but the fact he has scored already is important because goals give all strikers confidence."
