Despite the fact that Pompey are a tough team to play, especially at their place, and we have had players journeying all round the world risking life and limb for a second rate cause (feckin' internationals ) I feel very relaxed and confident this evening.

I really think we have a depth of squad, and a real confidence which will see us win these kind of games. We ARE a better team than the likes of Pompey, Blackburn, Villa,Newcastle etc and so , if the team shows the right positive attitude we will get the right results.

I'd have thought that this game would be the the right sort of match for Torres to start. As long as we win though that's all that matters.
