Arse top of the table, hope it's not another five years.
I'd just like to point out that we've only played five frigging games and haven't conceded a single goal in open play.

Scum and Arsenal's early starts were down the road, ours was at the other end of the country.

Reading comments on here, I'm more than ever convinced that a great many of our fans know nothing and fluctuate from ridiculous highs to ridiculous lows based on the results of one game. What the frigging hell would you be posting if we'd lost?

im still happy with our team, squad, manager and start. In fact im more than happy.

But honestly can you say we wouldnt have been in a better position to win if stevie and torres started today. Win the game THEN rest the ****ers I say!

not the fairest comparison. they all look second rate compared to torres in my view.

WE`RE UNBEATEN THIS SEASON AND PLAYED BRILLIANTLY AFTER MOST OF OUR TEAM CAME BACK FROM FOREIGN EXCURSIONS.

ManU took a point from Portsmouth.

beneitez also has to realise to make 5 changes is just to many.
Good post mate, we were lucky today.

I think rafa made a total horlicks of the game. He started days ago bleating about not having time to prepare. That sends a negative message out to the players which may have unconsciously effected them today.

Secondly, I thought rafa has said the league is our priority this season. If so why didn't he pick our strongest 11. He could have rested Sg & Torres on tuesday. Lets face it even if we lose on Tuesday we should still go through. If we are to win the league we must play our strongest 11, particulary away from home against decent teams like Pompey.

Its time Rafa learnt this lesson. playing weakened sides away from home leads to dropped points.

Mate your taking the p1ss if you thought we were brilliant today. We were poor and lucky to get a point.

Plus most of that side didn't play in midweek internationals, Reina, Arbeloa, Carra, Finnan, Alonso, Momo?, Pennant & Crouch. also agger only played half an hour.

i'm a big Rafa fan, and overall the start to the season has been very good but Rafa bolloxed up the selection today in my view.

Hopefully we will play 60+ games this season.
Rafa unlike you,is looking to the future.
He has to balance 20 players over the season.
If we put out our best team every week we`d be fecked by December.

Mate, it's a lost cause. Some people just won't get it. We need to play the same 11 each week in the premiership, even though if they're injured.

However I do think that Crouch was a mistake today.

That should have been phrased: "Crouch let Rafa down today". More to the point.

Yes but he was played against a slow defence who are good in the air, Torres or Kuyt would have been a better choice.
