nice to see he's got his head screwed on, no doubt carra's been advising him.

Agger's ****ing quality. He strikes me as someone who isn't interested in all the superstar/celeb bull**** that surrounds the modern game, just wants to make the most out of himself as a player and a man.

Agger has the makings of an Anfield legend.

Used to be a great scoff at Que Pasa - haven't been in for years. Great to see commitment, good luck to the lad.

I'm not surprised at all that he is now our best defender. Carra is great but Agger is a more complete defender.

Agger has the ability to be the best defender in the world in a year or two and that is fantastic for such a young defender.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It doesn't say anywhere in that article that he wants to stay a Red for life though.

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is hoping to finish his career at the Merseyside club and has bought a restaurant in the city as a business project for when he retires from the game.

The 22 year old Danish International is still only early in his career but has laid down roots in Liverpool now and hopes to see out the remainder of his footballing life at the Merseyside club.

"There was a bit of confusion with people saying I've bought two restaurants. Actually, it's just one - Que Pasa on Lark Lane," he told the Liverpool Echo.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
