Cahill for me is similar to players like Lampard and Platt - pretty ineffective as a midfielder, but has that 'knack' of scoring a high number of goals from midfield.

They have sorted out two big problems (centre half and and a goalscorer) and have definitely improved their position, but we are one of teh best sides in Europe, and derby day or not, we should beat them.

They'll be trying to hard and Rafa will have a strategy to deal with it.

Somehow I don't expect us to start brightly, probably just try and keep possession as much as poss for the 1st 10-20 mins and then step up a gear.

Hope I'm right and I reckon we might see a Kuyt goal.

Defence needs to step up as there'll be a fair few set pieces I reckon and Pepe needs to put in a good game, for his sake if nothing else.

I reckon that this will be a big challenge for us on Saturday. Everton have started the season in good form and I'd expect them to be up for it but that said our team has more quality in every area of the pitch. Hopefully Momo, Riise and Carra are fit to play.

The Derby at Goodison is always one of my favourite matches of the season so naturally I can't wait for Saturday. Hopefully Kuyt scores and we win.
