Melt down, a few suicides, all the normal bits.

We played **** but still got a point. Still no english team ever won in Porto. We will play better against them at home and should win. We will finish top of the group so no problems. Would like to know why the team was so poor tonight, 2 poor performances on the trot is worrying, especially though with the team we had out tonight as it was our strongest team except Agger.

They had lots of possesion and pressure but it never felt like they were going to score again really, mainly thanks to woeful crossing from Quaresma.

Pennant is off. Stupidly chased down a ball he was never going to get, dived in and got a second booking. Was inevitable he gave away so many stupid fouls since being booked.

I find it difficult to condemn a player that has fought 100% for every last ball. If we'd seen the same from our CM the game may have gone better. El Jefecito and especially Stevie G were absent through pretty much the whole game.

One interesting thing to come out of this, 8 games and no goals conceded in open play yet, but have had 4 pens awarded against us and conceded 3 of them. How have we had 1 pen every other game awarded so far, some teams don't even have that many awarded against them in a season. [scum]cough[scum]
