Andy Townsend's incisive comment re Rafa's rotation policy.... Apparently it's bad because players who aren't performing don't get dropped anymore, they get rotated. And then they get back in the squad without deserving it.

Does he think that Rafa picks the players at random? Or does he think that rotation means using a rota? Has he read anything about how Rafa assesses what players should play in upcoming games? Is he the most stoopid pundit on the planet?

Drive the Stat Wagon (Data Truck..? Bollocks Bus?) into a lake with him in it.

What a great team sheet... maybe too attacking though for an away leg against a strong team, hence we struggled...?

I find it difficult to condemn a player that has fought 100% for every last ball. If we'd seen the same from our CM the game may have gone better. El Jefecito and especially Stevie G were absent through pretty much the whole game.

Didn't think Finnan helped him much either tbh.

I'd feel ill if we signed him. As you say, no honour and for £20,000,000 we could do much better.

He used to play for us, he had weird yet unique haircuts, he missed a sitter at Old Trafford, he broke his legs two times and scored in both FA Cup and Champions' League final (although @ penalty shoot-out).

To be fair mate, I don't want any Portuguese player near our team, because all of them (yes, all of them!) cheat and dive all the ****ing time. Portuguese football league looks like a scubba-diving show every weekend, it really does

I would be worried if I thought that, that, was as good as it would get but we're better than that. A point wasn't a disatser although I agree that the performance could have been much better.

Two poor performances on the road but we still managed to grind out something from each match. Two or three years ago we would possibly have lost both matches this week.

Birmingham next up and I have faith in Rafa and the lads to turn them over.
