Gerrard and Torres were massive on Saturday, because they controlled the game and more important, Torres was fed with great passes and crosses. He was completely isolated tonight, so was Gerrard and majority of that is to be thanked to Rafa's incredibly dumb tactics!

Giving away the ball carelessy is not down to tactics mate that's poor play and they were all guilty of it last night.
However I think Torres and Gerrard should've started both games get the a goal or 2 and then rest them.
