    The effective solution

I have read so many times about ‘the effective solution’. Be it drugged up hippies trying to convince everyone that a spliff would stop all war or one of those random companies who insist on calling you at work to offer their ‘effective solution’ for me losing my piece of paper with all of the important phone numbers. How can they do this? What gives people the right to assume that they know better than anyone else and that they have a solution that hasn’t already been thought of.

Ok, the scenarios above are slightly extreme. One is a misguided stoner trying to share their love and the other is a misguided salesman trying to share their products.

The effective solution can only be sought by trial and error. None of us will, realistically, ever find ourselves having the luxury of deciding our best team with such a choice of players around and I seriously doubt if we ever had the chance that we would find 1 teams worth of players that would be able to win everything in the modern day game.

Stoners and salesmen, arseholes and accountants.
Websites such as est exist solely to provide a forum where we can all have a rant or a place where you can leave the missus in the back of your mind and shamelessly bask in shared glory when the redmen rip a new ‘a’ for some of our lesser abled sporting colleagues. And when you consider the range of jobs that the people who contribute to these forums have and the varying expectations that these people hold for themselves and those around them in their lives it partly helps to understand the feelings behind some of the posts.

I am a great advocator of free speech and believe that everyone is entitled to not only have their opinion but also to share it with others as undoubtedly someone else will have the same thoughts.

The thing that gets to me is how people can be so adamant that their opinion is right and then the following week they are attempting to convince everyone of the opposite.

The thing that we are all meant to agree on is that LFC is for life. Sadly, we all know that there will be lows to take with the highs but as time is going on, the highs are starting to become more and more predominant. This surely is thanks on a very large part to a Mr Rafa Benitez. I am only 25 so I wasn’t around for all of the glory years and as a consequence of that all I have seen is the doldrums that we have been stuck in for a while now. Benitez IS building a team, a squad and more importantly a desire to win that is far from the finished article but for christs sake, we are closer than I have ever seen.

I know this post is merely my little rant (celebrating my 100th post) but I just wanted to remind people that we all support the same team and come may of next year, we will all be celebrating together so for a while, consider the whole picture that is happening in front of us with the club and try to curb the knee jerk reactions that condemn OUR players when all is not flowing smoothly. The scum have won the league so many times going through games playing 10 times worse than I have seen us play and still scrape a result. We have now seen the team that we love destroy bad teams whilst playing superbly and then play horrendously and still get a draw away at one of the current top European teams who are in a fine vein of form at the moment.
So all in all, comments, rants, praise, whatever we can offer is all great for allowing us to share our opinions but the tedium of slating anything about the club on the back of a good result is slightly puzzling.
    in january we were doomed.

in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

                        A rocking mod then?
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
