Perfect game to give him 90 minutes in my opinion. Also give Hobbs, Insua, Leto & El Zhar starts against Reading, as we've invested so much in youth we need to see if they can take the next step up.

Not sure that Gerrard needs a rest AF - it's only September and he's just had 2-3 weeks off with a broken toe. I'd say he needs games more than anything to get his form back.

We need to play a really strong side against Birmingham to get confidence in the team back to where it was after the Derby game. Birmingham are no mugs this season either.
