just googled this but I cant find it. I'm almost certain Lallas signed for Coventry way back as a centre half. He had long stragly red hair and a red beard at the time - hardly something you can easily forget.
Can anybody else substantiate this one way or the other please?_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

Nah. What manager would give his blessing to that?Originally posted by Howard_lfc View PostIn light of the bombshell at Stamford Bridge should we be actively seeking his successor at the moment - with Rafa's blessing of course? If Rafa walked out on us at the moment we'd be well and truly knackered.
Maybe we could draft somebody in to work alongside Rafa to learn the ropes as such? I don't know.
At the moment we haven't even got a right hand man to take charge should something happen.
Discuss.
And why would we want a number 2 to be our next manager? If a future manager wants to be learning the ropes he'll be doing it as a manager, not sat next to Rafa watching all he does.
There's no substitute for experience. How many number 2s go on to be great managers.
If they're really great managers let them go out and prove it. If they've not proven it at the point that Rafa leaves I don't want them at the helm anyhow.

i couldn't bear to watch his style of football which I can only describe as Houllier up and under but with a smattering of match winners to make it pay off. Would rather watch paint dry than watch a Maureen run Liverpool team. The only pleasure I'd get would be hurling insults at his Matalan coat from my paddock berth.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostWhy is it a silly question? Rafa's well moody and in my opinion if something starts to piss him off at the club I reckon he'd **** off in a flash and we really would be left up sh!t creek and without a padddle. Les's question is a valid one...
If Rafa left us, I'd go for that loathsome, ungracious, **** of a man....Mourinho. I hate him but I know I'd love him if he ever managed us. I'm incredibly fickle

LFC are here to win trophies, and for all his faults Maureen is a winner.
I'm a bit sad he's gone really - he livened up the PL with his egotistical ramblings, and it was nice to see how much we got under his nose. Now it's back to Utd v Arsenal [Taggart v Wenger].'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

Apology accepted Les.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
