LFC v Birmingham - pre match build up

I remeber us having these threads last season, haven't seen them so much this season, so here we are.

So our main injury victims are Agger and Alonso who'll be out for a while, asside from that we've got the returning Aurelio and Riise, which should give a bit extra on that left hand side.

We've also Harry Kewell due back any day now also, however i'd imagine he'll get eased back into action v Reading midweek, but thats going to strengthen that left side even further.

So asside from no more injuries, a clean sheet and a win what would everyone like to get out of tomorrows game?

Personally i'd like to see Babel put in a good performance, I think he's got a lot to offer but is maybe wasted out on wing, maybe he'll get a chance up top but probably not tomorrow. Also i'd like to see Leto and Leiva get games, but i suspect they'll be saved for the match v reading.

clean sheet, no ****in penalties awarded against us !!! 3-0 maybe 4, two more from torres one from babel and some attacking football please and a bit of entertainment.

also steve bruce has got a big fat head should be bellowed out from the kop
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

      Amen to that brother!

Any win with a clean sheet would do for me but as icing on the top (so to speak) a good performance from Babel as Morph mentioned would go down a well.

I just want to see a good performance and goals from Torres. Keep his confidence running high and hopefully kick on from his great start.

We need to see Sir Stevie getting involved in the game as well. With Mascher holding, there will be more onus on him to provide the thrust from Midfield.

And finally, I DON'T want to see anymore injuries.

I'd like us to win first and foremost, esp with the mancs and chavs playing each other we can really start building up a gap on one of those lot with a nice win.
secondly i'd like to see our boys come through no injuries. After that, if we can put in 3/4/5 goals then wicked.

                    Amen to that!

This is such an important match IMO. The draw against Pompey was a forseeable dropping of points as far as I'm concerned, and also the draw against Porto. But it's been the lack of form from Gerrard in particular that's bothered me. Arbeloa has looked shaky also for the first time this season and I'd like to see a return to form from him.

A good performance, no injuries or penos and a comfortable 2-0 win and I'm happy!

funny how Xabi gets all the stick but Stevie is almost immune to it-esp as he has not performed well for us so far (villa dn that pass for El Nino excluded)_
