'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
    It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
    Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

How will they be able to do that when they will build a new stadium for £300m?

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

              i think he is right.

it might not be a quick buck but they are in it to make money.

the good thing is that too make money they will build the new stadium and what a stadium it will be. and they will develop the (awful word sorry) brand.

so in order to make there quick buck they will do some good and needed things.

taking a step back the clubs with the money will try to protect there position at the top table. which for football as a whole isnt good.

And why are UEFA distributing so much money to the clubs in the Champions League?

these 16 teams they say are to challenge for four spots......

you think these matches wont be televised al over the world, thus generating more money for eufa etc... surely he is contradicting himself in some way ????

all in all a 100% tit
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Because otherwise G14 would go off and form a rival competition...?

I think Gaillard is basically right although I don't think the owners are in it to make "quick" money, just money.

UEFA's position is hypocritical though and their proposals have little or nothing to do with spreading the wealth around and are much more about rewarding Platini's supporters for his election.
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

The joke of it is that there is no way of making quick money out of football unless you are a player. G&H and the Glazers will have debt for a very long time.
