So, Harry, what to do with you...

well, what should the club do with him? injury prone, but when fit a real viable threat for us, the best winger at the club. But we all know about his injury problems, he's 29 now and is in the last year of his contract. Should we keep him and hope he comes good? or shall we flog him in january?

I'm not a Kewell basher but I think it'd be best if we offloded him in Jan. I just dont think we'll get the best out of him and his injury probles wont disappear overnight if we give him a new contract.

His career is finished IMO. That level of football is too much for him ... He should step down a division or concentrate into developing grass roots footy in Australia.

Fredo this is frightening I agree with you again, I think he won't come good again I was hopeful he would and would be delighted if he did but you can see the resignation on Rafa's face when asked about him.
I think he'll sign a pre-contract with a new club in Jan and move for free in the summer.
What might've been with him, really skillful enjoyed a lot of what he did give us but unfortunately I don't see him playing 3 full games in a row for us.

He never showed what he was capable of for us, albeit very brief spells early in his career with us.

true, he has had his moments and some flashes of brilliance (that goal against the blue****e in 2006)

But the injuries have curtailed his career with us. I just think time and his age is against him now/

            Agreed.

He has always had the ability but he has been with us for four years without having one decent injury free season.

Every time picks up another injury diminishes his chances of a successful return.

We'll never see the Leeds Kewell again. He's still a decent player, but definitely not the top class winger we'd all hoped he'd be.

It's a sad story with Kewell.

Showed in his Leeds days that he could have been a world beater, sadly the last five years have been wretched in terms of injuries for him. (How many times have we said this), a fit Kewell is the best winger at the club, and one of the best in the league, but how often is he fully match fit?

No point keeping him beyond his contract I'm afraid. Time for a new number 7

Shame for him. This was to be his season where he showed his injury problems were behind him. I've always supported him and always waited for him to show what he can do consistently. I've never subscribed to this bollocks that he's deliberately "injured" and happy picking up his wages until the big games and finals come to pass.

But I guess it's time we moved on considering his injuries just never seem to end. We need to move on and I guess a new start for Harry may be the best for all now.

We need to keep Harry as long as we do not have a REAL left winger (or two for that matter). Said, but true

Kewell is past it, and I do not think he will recover again to get more than a few games under his belt. Some players are just injury prone, or their bodies cannot handle it... this must be Harry.

I really rated him, and even at the moment he is still our best left winger in the side, scary but true, and we really miss him at the moment.

He will probably go in January to anyone who wants him.

If and only if Harry Kewell is on form which may take up to late November and last to December he is still the most dangerous winger we have.

                              Life's like that!
