Some **** had a pop at me on the post match Birmingham thread for making a funny comment on it so I'm going to try and be more creative this time !
I'm what people love to hate I admit I'm a lurker I love to read all these threads and posts but I feel that some people really don't live in this world. After reading comment on this site over the last few days I felt compelled to write this.
I sometimes wonder what peoples opinions and feelings might be if the above games were never invented. I myself am addicted to these games in my spare time ( the spare time that I have which isn't much)
When you are in front of the TV watching football or you are in front of the Computer monitor playing a football manager game you subconciously forget that the two are different to one another.
There are times when I watch Liverpool on tv and think to myself fu*king hell we are making a meal of this we should be winning 3 or 4 nill then but then that is because I've beaten the opposing team 6-0 on CM or FM with my all star team that I built with a cheat.
I never get the same feeling if I've been to see them live though, it might be because I can appreciate the effort more that players have put into a game when I see them do it for real. When you play computer games or watch it on TV the people on the screen are digital recreations your judgement gets cloudy when differentiating between the two.
I'm not saying that If these management games weren't around then we wouldn't have opinions or show any passion but I do feel that people wouldn't be so fast to pass judgement after one mediocre result.
Doesn't what I've said make sense or am I just a nut case ! Please say
