.the battery boy. How do we think AA did at centreback? He's been great for us this season at either full-back, but I wasn't convinced it would work out at CB for him. Still undecided after last night - lets get Danny back!

He adds a bit of pace as well.
He's been an inspired signing.**** OFF HICKS AND GILLETT WE DON'T WANT YOU.

he showed the effort and determination that he shows at full back but he seemed lacking either positional sense or a little bit of strength a couple of times at cb. he is still f'ing great though. i reckon he knew we were going to win anyway and was taking the piss out of carra to make him run more. help build the team spirit and everythingin january we were doomed.
in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again

anyone else notice he's always 1st of one of the 1st up to celebrate a goal, just like lil Luis used to do, personally i think its great he does it a real team player."What are ya gonna do, release the dogs or the bees or the dogs with bees in their mouths so when they bark they shoot bees at you"

Subtle and I agree it shows what a team player he is - the right mentality - good spot.Originally posted by niallers1 View Postanyone else notice he's always 1st of one of the 1st up to celebrate a goal, just like lil Luis used to do, personally i think its great he does it a real team player.

Yeah I noticed that ages ago. His reaction is almost identical to Luis Garcia's except he's a little more violent. Its only a matter time before he seriously kills one of our other playersOriginally posted by niallers1 View Postanyone else notice he's always 1st of one of the 1st up to celebrate a goal, just like lil Luis used to do, personally i think its great he does it a real team player. My kebab comes with chilli sauce

Good spot Niallers, Ive noticed that whilst spending too much time watching Liverpool TV - He is always one of the first couple of players to jump all over the goalscorer. I love him.Originally posted by niallers1 View Postanyone else notice he's always 1st of one of the 1st up to celebrate a goal, just like lil Luis used to do, personally i think its great he does it a real team player.

It always takes a while to establish a good working partnership in the middle of defence.
I took a few games for Dan and Carra to gel. Plus Carra swapped sides for the night, so another
adjstment to take into consideration. Also there wasn't the luxury of Pepe behind the back 4.
All in all not a bad display, certainly gives Rafa options. Not a penny more Fat Dunk.

I think the reason he was played at center back last night was to see how he would fit in there, just in case we need him there due to another injury (god forbid) or needing to rest Sami/Carra
His good display means we can sub Sami early in games that are already won thereby keeping him fresherLawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"
Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"
Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

In a way it was a good thing it was Agger that got injured rather than carr, because Arbeloa's more of a similar player to Agger than Carra. Like to play the ball, got a good eye for a pass, and playing alongside Carra will give him confidence.
He really is the ultimate utility man, so far we've seen him LB, RB, CB, RW and I think he was on LW for a little while in one of our matches last season. A very astute signing from Rafa, and I think even he'll be surprised by how well he's settled inThomas Hicks Senior
