Ah, well that's not Gerrard writes in the s*n, that's a s*n reporter heard him at a press conference, just slightly different. If that's the only basis then this thread is a gonner.

I highly doubt they directly quoted him also, he has proved to be spectacularly daft on occasion with his mouth but I dont believe for one second he knew anything about this.

One thing is for sure, he needs to nip this in the bud ASAP and publicly either bollock whoever authorized this and sack them or sue the sun if they have just done it themselves.
