Am i right in thinking i'll be easily sorted for Cardiff?

Not really, their fans just want to kick the **** out of everyone. I put them in the same bag as Stoke, Millwall, Leeds. They played Stockport away when we played Man Utd in Cardiff on the Sunday. They came back to Cardiff from the Stockport game on the Saturday evening and all hell broke loose.

I think we've always had a good relationship with the Cardiff fans, even the 'Soul Crew'. Indeed, Tony Rivers who co-wrote the book of the same name used to be a Liverpool fan when he was younger.



Cardiff fans hate Mancs going back to a match in the 1970s at Ninian Park were the Taffs got a good kicking. When we played the Mancs in 2003 in Cardiff the locals joined up with us against them, as they also did against the Birmingham City 'Zulus' in 2001.

I'm not saying there won't be any trouble but I don't think it will be as bad as when they play small clubs like Millwall, Stoke, Leeds or Everton.
