    Experts pls add this sum...Liverpool and Mancs

    Pls can someone add the total sum of the cost of the first starting 11 players which Liverpool played vs AC Milan in Istanbul 2005 and the total sum of the Man.Utd team which lost vs Coventry last Wednesday.


    Dudek - ?

    Finnan - 3.5 million sterling

    Riise - 3.5 million sterling

    Hyypia - ?

    Carragher - from academy

    Alonso - 10 million sterling

    Gerrard - from academy

    Smicer - 5 million sterling

    Kewell - 5 million sterling

    Garcia - 6.5 million sterling

    Baros - 3.5 million sterling.


    Total approx - 40/45 million sterling


    The Mancs:

    Nani + Anderson = 36 million already + I don't know how much the other reserves cost them...

            think the mancs bought Dong (what a name!) for about 3mill, werent the rest of the manc team (nani and anderson aside) all from their youth team?

                          Smicer was free wasn't he? Or 3.5 I can't remember.
                          I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
