According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The academy and the reserve coverage are the best things about Liverpool TV.
I thought the german guy Marvin Pouvrie (?) looked the business. 4 goals in the two games they highlighted - looked a different league to the opposition.
I remember checking the matchday programme for reserve and youth info and seeing Owen, McManaman and Paul Jewell firing in goals - we've not had anyone scoring for fun at any level for years except Mellor and somehow you could tell he wasn't top drawerComment
