Know what you mean. My old man is exactly the same and we talk about this stuff all the time. He watches League Two football every week and has only a passing interest in LFC and the Prem these days. 'Cheque-book football', he began to call it about 10 years ago. Still does, even though cheque books are out-of-date.

Well, he has right. Money totally rules football now. If FIFA saw a rule change that would earn them more money then they would allow the rule as soon as possible.
