    Drop Gerrard?

    We got lucky today, drop the skipper, lazy fcuker today from what i've been told.
    Start masher and yossi and centre midfield, wee bit of passion and drive in there. Gerrard needs a good kick up the arse, he says he's over the toe injury so now what's the excuse? Playing in his beloved central midfield and everything.
    ****ing sort it out Stevie, been annoymous for far too long now.

        i think it would be silly to drop steven gerrard

                          how do you know? by your own admission you didn't even watch the game today.

                          he wasn't at his best by a long chalk today. but every now and then a lung busting run appeared- a couple of good overlaps and a few decent touches.

                          after missing so many games for us and then playing those england game back to back i wonder how much training he has done in recent weeks.

                          what it looks like to me is he needs games to get back to full sharpness. not dropping/resting/rotating whatever you want to call it.

                          wigan hadn't lost at home this season. a win on the road is always a good result. we got through it and we move on. not sure why some people always need to moan about something
