i organise back stage areas at concerts like the brits etc and did Louise tour a few yrs back. have a triple VIP pass so look like i am someone important, and one of my mates is best mates with Beattie, used to play with him at Blackburn So used to have plenty of night outs with a lot of the players things have quietened down on that front since he got married though

The 'funny' thing about the Robbie rumours is how much he despises the stuff. I used to work at the Paradox and he was there quite often.

The best night was when the whole team turned up after getting a point at Stalag Trafford - Barnes & Thomas were MVP'ing in the VIP suite, Razor & Trigger was sniffing (i.e. women not marching powder) on the dancefloor and Robbie just propped up the bar with a bottle of beer, never letting it out of sight incase it got spiked.

The bouncers were constantly taking and dealing anything they could, and many a time had a discreet word with Fowler asking if he wanted anything. Every single time he declined.

The rumours are just from the bitters.

The Fowler and Gerrard drug rumours are old hat they've been doing the rounds for years probably just being recycled / regurgitated once again

Have heard the Agger being gay rumour but that story supposedly originated in Denmark (in the Danish media if I remember correctly)

As for Owen theres been the odd whisper of him and a female tv presenter but again that was a couple of years ago

Theres always rumours around Liverpool so its probably not that the locals havent heard them, they just wanted to check that Diego was talking about one of the current 300,000 rumours circulating the city and not an outdated one

You may remember a few years ago the papers were gonna report that a high profile footballer was gonna be exposed as visiting prostitutes. There was an injuction at the last minute to stop the allegations being published. (It was not long after that Blackburn player was exposed for the same thing).

Well, according to one person I know who works in the newspaper industry, that player was Michael Owen.

Just a rumour - I have no idea how true.
