I know the finishing was great but that was a good ball in from Pennant - which has been something he has not always been good at. He has looked quite comfortable when switched left this season - maybe we should do it more often.

The other thing was the ludicrousness of the current offside law - if a commentator can reasonably say that a player who is running out of the six yard box is 'not interfering with play' it just shows how much of a subjective grey area it has become. Luckily for us we got the benefit of the doubt this time.

we got so incredibly lucky it's crazy, two offsides blatantly called wrong one would have given them a penalty the other one a goal. neither of them where offsides by a mile...

Agree 100% but when we get things like that going our way, it just makes you wonder...

Don't tell Quinncy that, he would only tell you that Pennant would have saved the penalty after a super rush from the end of the box and got to the line before the ball hit the back of the net and that he would have saved the disallowed goal too.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
