The next three games could make or break our season....

        Spurs at home
        Bitters away
        Arsenal at home

        (followed by Blackburn away!!)

Need at least 7 points from that IMO.

I don't think we've really taken full advantage of our 'easy-ish' start to the season, so we simply have to raise our game for the next month.

Let's hope October isn't a month to forget....

Tough October ahead. Hopefully Spurs season will be well and truly over this evening and we give them a pasting this Sun. Bitters will be tough away derby. Take a draw. Arse are flying high. We shld beat them at home.

In our current form, we'll scrap out draws out of these games.

Yep - fully agree with that. We have a much tougher second half to the season in store where we'll play all the top sides away from home, which is why we really need to be picking up maximum points where possible.

I think it is absolutely essential we beat the Gooners at home. In previous years we have not picked up a lot of points on the road at our rivals', so we need to be beating them at home. Chelsea was unfortunate in this regard - unlucky that we faced them while they were at probably their strongest this season (while the Mancs faced them when they were in meltdown) and of course we were robbed by the refereeing error. We pissed away 2 points against Birmingham for whatever reason and we didn't give ourselves the best chance possible of beating Portsmouth.

We can't keep dropping silly points like this -every point is crucial this season.

To be fair dude, we'll probably have another thread after these four games saying next the next 3 or 4 league games are biggies

Whilst i agree with your sentiments...the truth of the matter is ALL league games are vitally important for our success/lack of success this season in the league

                      Very true Marky.

Every point is crucial this season and so we need to give ourselves the best possible opportunity to pick up as many league points as possible.

Id like to think we could get 3 points at Everton and we can but you never can tell with a derby game.

At home to Spurs, well they are on a bad run. Ideally they will win tomorrow because teams always have a knack of ending their losing run by beating us. So they win tomorrow and can go back to being **** when they play us. Should be another 3 points.

Blackburn away is always a flap of a game. I hate teams like Blackburn. They could beat you 4-0 or you could beat them 5-0. Again, we should get the points there.

We should be looking at 10 points from that run. 8 points as a bare minimum.
last seasons game at Rovers was so frustrating, we had so many chances and could easily have won 5-0, but we didnt take any and McCarthy killed us off.
As for Arsenal, well it seems to be that they play **** at our ground and lose and we play **** at theirs and we lose, think it'll be the same again this season.

All joking aside, i see no reason why we cant be winning all 4 of those games.

It would be shameful if we didnt beat Spurs at Anfield. Their defence is rubbish and we must put atleast 2/3 past them
